Yay! I finally bought my Christmas flights tonight!!! I feel so much better now since i have bought them and can think about everything else now. I cant believe how fast everything is moving right now but I am trusting God to provide and take care of me through all of these things and really stretch who i am:)God has been so faithful so far so why would i think he would ever stop?!

I know this verse is well used!! but im going to give it anyway:)

Jeremiah 29:11

"For I know the plans I have for you"declares the Lord,"plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Sometimes we need read around these really popular passages because its so easy to miss some big points.

verse 12-14

"Then you will call upon my name and come and pray to me and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all of your heart. I will be found by you" declares the Lord "and will bring you back from captivity."

 

 In this verse God is talking to the Jews about turning back to their first love(him)..because he wants to bless them but cant because they are serving false gods and other kings...which could also be said about us in this day in age. Christians have so many little idols that take up so much of our time and then we wonder why our lives do not seem to be blessed or our prayers are not being ansered. We need to return to our first love and he will be able to pour out his blessings on them like he really could and wants to do.
