Well tomorrow there will be two weeks left until training camp! Im so excited and cannot believe how fast September 8th has come! It seems like it really was not very long ago when I decided to go to Nicaragua. I had origionally planned on going to Lima, Peru but it seems like God had much different plans and now Im getting ready to go to Nicaragua for nine months with a team of awesome people which i have already gotten to know a few pretty well. I will be honest and say i was a little dissapointed about not being able to go to Peru this year because of the chance to see some pretty awesome things there but God knows far better than me that it is and was best for our team to stay together in Nicaragua. Since I found out we would be spending time in Nicaragua everyday i am more excited about seeing the country and being involved there. The next couple of weeks I am just going to be trying to prepare myself and get everything done that i need to before I leave. I really hope that everyone who has supported me are reading these updates because they are a great way for you to see and read about what we will be doing in Nicaragua. Please continue to pray for me and my team and that God will cause us to be very close and to be able to do some awesome things this year. To let you all know how support is going right now: I have raised enough to pay for my trip and airfare but I am still trying to raise some support for things like shots and travel insurance. Please pray about supporting me for those very nessasary things. God has been so great in providing for me so far and I can wait to see what he is able to accomplish through us this year.
